What are some good exercises to get in shape for waterpolo?

I'm starting in september and i want to train a bit before i start, and this my first season.

  1. well, i went to the jr olympics for water polo, and i'll first start off by telling you that water polo is so much fun! To get in shape for h2o polo, start swimming some laps, for like an hour and a half every day. also, work on treading water (egg beater). and then ofcourse, pass the ball around with a friend or something like that. Good luck!


  2. Some short fast sprint-crawls with your head up, tread-water with your hands on your head or if you think you look too nuts doing that just throw a ball around in the deep-end with a few pals for 30min - it's a work-out.

  3. Maybe do some laps around the pool. Im not really sure cuz ive never done waterpolo. But what i do know is u mus b VERY s**y!!! Cuz waterpolo boyz b mmm yummylicious 4realz.
