What are some good exercises to increase my vertical?

I'm going to start playin' college ball next year and I want to get up to a 24in vertical, right now its 21 so any pointers for some exercises, I can't do squats or dead lifts because of my back, anything else?

  1. you ever try "dots" or "speed dots"  you set up some dots like this

    then you alternate on one leg going from one corner to the middle then to the same side opposite corner. and then go back to start in reverse, then go from out, in, out to next corner, and go back to start in reverse.  millions of combinations keep it fresh and new,

    will have you burning calves in no time
