I used to live in Toronto many years ago and am going back for work for a month living at the Intercontinental. What are some good fine dining places in that area? Yorkville/Bloor?

I used to go to Prego Della Piazza at Bloor/Avenue ... how is that place now? How is Sassafraz now? New places?

  1. you can go to Pusateri's its close to yorkville on bay street

  2. Prego is still a hotspot - I personally love the food there - and of course the beautiful church patio. You probably want to try sotto-sotto and ONE.

  3. I am a former chef and knew the chef and Sassafraz when it had the fire, they have just finished rebuilding, Prego is still a good spot, I also the chef/owner Massimo there to, but for a nice place that has been there for ages and alway is good is on Yorkville just at the corner Bellair, "Le Trou Normand" is a true gem, and very classy.
