  1. Kingda Ka, El Toro & Nitro

  2. For a first-timer, Skull Mountain is OK, but I might start with the Runaway Mine Train. It's easy and not too fast, but still fun.

From there, you might try Rolling Thunder, an older wooden coaster. RT gives you the shaky, rattly feel of a classic "woodie".

If you're still having fun (I'm sure you will be...) go to the Great American Scream Machine. It's not too high and is an easy intro to looping coasters.

Enjoy the Scream Machine? (I knew you would... ;-) Then head straight for Medusa... It's a great intro to the floorless coasters (your feet hang free!)

After Medusa, you're ready for the big boys. Try Nitro and El Toro for the best rides in the park. Kingda Ka is optional.

    (Don't bother with Superman...)

    Have fun!

    peace

  3. First off, go on a weekday unless you're willing to spend at least 12 hours there. In the summer, the lines are looong, around 2 hours for the good coasters.

Batman and Robin. You HAVE to ride that thing, you go go go, and the rail stops in the middle of the ride. As in, a few hundred feet in the air, the track just stops. Lol, when I rode it, I was like "OMG WE'RE GONNA DIE" but the coaster stops, and you go through the entire thing backwards.

Superman's also a must. Best ride ever, and seriously exhilarating. Kingda Ka's advertised as the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the world, and it is, but that's its flaw - it's so fast that it lasts like 6 seconds. Scary, I'll give you that, but it's a cheap thrill.

Nitro's awesome as well - try it out.

But, if you're going there for the first time, start out with El Tauro, it's great, but not "OMG I'M GONNA BARF" great. :D

  4. if you like coasters with thrill then i would try out goliath! also i enjoy the ride where there are no seat belts, and u spin around really fast. it is the friction that holds yo on, the only thing is i don't know what it is called... :(
