I have just started babysitting 3 kids that are 11, 10, and 4 and I have to babysit them quite often, I need some ideas for games or crafts that I could do with them.

  1. learn orgami

  2. As a nanny I have to keep my kids busy.  A water hose, lots of bins and containers, and a selection of toys that float, and they can build a "water park", making the water flow from one container to the next.  We stack ours on outside patio tables, chairs and even steps.

How about a scavenger hunt?  This could be set up to find, 4 red things, two fuzzy things, one sticky thing, three shiny things, one glowing thing, six yellow things.. etc.  OR it could be a series of clues, one that leads to another by way of a cryptic description of the hiding place for the next clue.  At the end is a BIG prize shared by all.

Do wild art on construction paper, then make paper airplanes out of them and let 'em RIP...

You have enough kids to use string, ribbon, or cray paper to play "limbo"  have two kids hold the "limbo pole" low.. start jumping over it.. as it gets too high, start going under it.. the kids will start making their own challenges for this game.

Okay..... I got a billion more... Heh!

  3. Since it's summer, chalk is a good idea. There are a lot of things that you can do outside like jump rope, hula hoop, ect... If you need to be inside then board games like Sorry, Trouble, or even card games are a good idea. You can always be on the 4 year old's team if you need to. At those ages too, just painting pictures might be a fun idea. I hope this helps.

  4. I have a 14 10 and 5 year old and eventhough he says he's too old the 14  year old has fun with us.. we make a safari kit out of almost what ever .. binoculars out ot toilet paper rolls .. nets out of old stockings hats out of newspaper and then we go on a bug safari.. it's fun and gets them outside.. have fun ..
