What are some good geology websites?

I want to teach myself some geology basics and interesting topics that are discussed in geology. Where can I find some good websites that will teach and talk about these things? I am taking geology in college as my science core curriculum credit and I take my first class and lab (of two) this coming fall. I just would like to get my feet wet before I take the class. I am really interested in geology which is rare because I don't like science too much and I picked geology because it sounded more interesting than the others like Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
