My aunt let me move in with her yesterday to get away from my dad from abusing me so much.

I just want to thank her and let her know how much I appreciate it.

I can knit and stuff....

She's 36 years old

She's your typical outgoing girly girl... lol. (shopping, spas..)

Loves food

....??

Any ideas?

thank you!!!

  1. Maybe a gift certificate(s) from places she likes to eat or shop.

    Thanks for asking.

  2. Well, they say a picture is worth a million words! So, if you knew some of her hobbies or passions you would surprise her with a nice little portrait made from a photo depicting exactly what or whom she likes. This can be done at http://www.paintyourlife.com for a reasonable fee and according to your specifications!

They also do wonderful photo-printing on canvas in different designs. Please take a look at http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com for more information.

  3. It should be acording to age and habits

  4. there is nothing like a personal gift - i say make her a nice cushion or quilt - she'll treasure it forever.

otherwise maybe pamper her and have a girls night - cook her a nice meal, and watch some girlie movies together.

i hope this is the new start you are looking for and deserve.

  5. I am an aunt, a bit older, but I can remember 36.

If she is employed, or even if she is at home with a family, having her dinner cooked once a week would be the best present you could give her. Or doing the shopping for food, the laundry, or bathing the youngest kid and reading her a bedtime story. Anything which takes care of something a time-poor woman has on her to-do list is great. And every woman of 36 is time-poor, no matter what her situation.

You could also knit her a scarf or bed sox of course!

And you have the makings of a fine adult, good on you for thinking about your aunt.

  6. Knitted and crocheted caps are trendy for this fall. Why don't you make her one of those. Or, you could make her a scarf for winter. They don't take much yarn either. I've listed a site with free patterns below.

I'm sure she'll love anything you make for her. I would look at her winter wardrobe to see what colors she wears before choosing the yarn. The best gift you can give her is to help her with the chores but I'm sure you're already doing that.

Good luck and I'm glad your aunt took you in!! : )

  7. She loves food, so why not take her out to a nice restaurant. Or, you might want to fix her up a nice dinner at home...
