My son's preschool teacher said if we liked we could buy a gift for the classroom. I thought about markers, glitter glue, and things like that. Any other ideas?

  1. if i`m in ur place, i will make story books as a gift coz storybooks can encourage the students to love reading, besides it has many positive impacts.

  2. cars for the boys.  braclets and rings for the girls

  3. Glue sticks are great we never have enough! Maybe watercolors, paint brushes.

I also like the idea of extra paper.

  4. tissues...kids get runny noses all the time.

  5. STICKERS

  6. board games like candyland or chutes and ladders.  the children in my preschool classroom love those games.  they play withthem every day :)

  7. Age appropriate coloring books with drawings that would appeal to both boys and girls. My P-K4 class LOVES to color pictures!

Crayons are nice, we run through those like water!

Kid friendly soap/dispensers. The kids LOVE the foaming kind.

Depending on the age of the children, markers (washable)and play dough are VERY VERY popular as well.

Glue sticks get used a lot.

"Different" art supplies, such as packing peanuts, marbles, q-tips, buttons, and wheels to paint with.

    Tempera paint or watercolors

    Age appropriate books are excellent!

Tylenol for the teacher is a nice touch as well.

And when in doubt, as the teacher what he/she needs most in the classroom. Sometimes you will be surprised.

  8. Get a set of 'Wedgits.'  They are these really great blocks that are wonderful for open-ended play.  You can get them at any learning store (from $15 a set)  or try fatbraintoys.com.

  9. CD for napping.  Enya will do it every time.

  10. A boxed set of children's books that are grade level appropriate, for a preschool class some my first readers or learn to read books would be awesome. That is a gift that would be used by classes for years to come, and not just used a few times like something like markers.

Blocks, animal counters, or other toys or classroom games that could be used year after year. Floor puzzles are excellent and would be enjoyed long after your son graduate's from preschool.

Hula hoops, jump ropes, playground balls, or other outdoor toys.

If you want something disposable, then large classroom sets of crayons, markers, glue, bottles of bubbles, sidewalk chalk, pencils, pens, etc.

  11. Box of pens or pencils. Snacks. High quality paper. Childrens books.

  12. I bought wooden puzzles for my son's class this year. I found them at Target for $1.00 each. The kids love them.

  13. Some christmas stencils and colouring pencils.  Paperchaines, we had great fun this these this year.
