What are some good golf clubs?

i need some good golf clubs because my old ones are not cutting it because im on a golf team now and the coach told me to get new ones. im left handed if this helps.

I just bought Taylormade R7 irons, they are very nice.  I'm assuming youre an above average player since youre on the golf team so the R7 TP's maybe better for you.  Mizunos are always fantastic.  Ping i10's have also received great reviews.  Titleist has new models out including the AP2.

   For drivers, I'd recommend the G10.  Titleist is coming out with the 909 driver in a few months.  For woods Taylormade Burners, Pings, Titleists, or Callaway.

Don't buy the Nike Sasquatch driver.  They are way overpriced and don't hold up well to hard use.  Thats the worst driver I ever owned.

I suggest you go to a driving range and try out a lot of different types of clubs.  That way you can be cure of what you like and what you don't like.

My personal opinion though is either TaylorMade or Titleist.

Well nothing is wrong with old clubs.

I will say though Ping makes the best Irons

I have two sets of Pings and they are the most comfortable clubs I have ever used

Your coach told you to get some new irons, but didn't make any recommendations?  That sounds like a coach that knows what he's doing(WTF)!  It would help if you stated what your handicap is, how much money you're willing to spend, or what you typically shoot.  I'm going to guess you're a mid-handicapper and will recommend Mizuno MX-25's, Ping G10's, or Cleveland CG Gold.  Driver recommendations:  Nike Sasquatch Sumo 5000, Ping G10, or Cobra Speed LD.  Wedges:  Anything Cleveland or Titleist.  Fairway woods:  Ping G10(it's a recurring theme), Nike Sasquatch 2, Cobra Speed LD.  Don't get everything at once.  You'll lose your shirt for sure.
