  1. It depends alot on your budget. I would recommend these GPS in three different price categories

    budget

    Garmin nuvi 200 models around $150

    Garmin nuvi 350 models around $225

    Premium

    Garmin nuvi 880 models have everything including traffic and voice

    I like Garmin a little more than TomTom.

    Updates of the software are free and available on their websites
