  1. my bro in law is a camp  counselor for the YMCA and he does these hilarious songs that they sing. One is "Ronald McDonald LOVES THE BIG MAC" and then they do this dance and it has lots of versus. very very funny. He taught it to our kids and they crack up.

Songs that we used to sing when we were kids while we played hand games or jumped rope. I think those would be lots of fun to get them up and moving. Have fun!

  2. Some songs I came up with were...

Cha Cha Heels- Rosabel Featuring Jeanie Tracy

    Don't Stop the Music- Rihanna

    Party Girls- Ultra Nate

    Lets Get Loud- Jennifer Lopez

Working 9-5- (sorry I don't know who this is by)

There's No Business Like Show Business- (sorry I also don't know who this is by)

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy- (Any one would be good)

Taking Care of Business- (sorry I don't know who this is by either)

    Great Balls of Fire

    Splish Splash

    Cupid shuffle and

You Cant Stop The Beat- Nikki Blonsky, Zac Efron, Amanda Bynes, Elijah Kelly, John Travolta & Queen Latifah (From Hairspray)

OH and... Baby I'm a Star

Most of these are pretty appropriate so I hope this can help! :)

  3. try this site - music is sorted by age group

    www.dancefestivalmusic.co.uk

  4. The all star song by smashmouth is a pretty fun one

  5. Okay, most kids will LOVE the jonas brothers, well most girls..I Know I do!!!! And Also Rihanna songs and Sean Kingston's Got No SHorty, Beautiful Girls, and Take You There. Maybe Drake Bell or Maroon 5. I listen to T-Pain, and I like Taylor Swift and Savannah Outen's "Goodbyes". Well I'm 12 so ya, im in that range!

  6. "The Freeze" and "Listen and Move" by Greg and Steve are PERFECT for camp. I used those songs last summer when I taught a camp, and they were lifesavers! But, the older kids might stick their noses up at the songs, because at 13 and 14 they are "grown up" :)

  7. chicken dance

    twist and shout

    macarana

    the name game

    limbo

    splish splash

    hokey pokey

    disco duck

    lolly pop

    simon says

    etc.
