  1. Ibanez, Fender for some (I don't personally care for Fender), Gibson, Dean, PRS, Epiphone, and ESP. Although a lot of these brands are well-rounded typically they are known for certain genres of music. Ibanez and Fenders are known for pop/punk/rock normally not metal genres but I'm not saying they can't crunch. I personally love Ibanez more than Fender because I don't like the feel of Fender guitars. Some have plastic k***s or other equipment that just feel cheap to me. Everyone will defend their preferred brand though. I love Dean because it is well-rounded and affordable while the guitars are better known for rock. Gibsons are known for the broadest range of music from rock/metal to blues. PRS, ESP, and Epiphones are known for rock and metal. Typically bands that promote them are Metallica or other metal bands. I hope this helps.

  2. yes im on the same trail exept i know alot about guitars the best brand is fender and spectrum but dont forget you need an amp picks and other accsecories please emal me

  3. i love my Gibson's. epiphone is a good one to for a little less$$. stay away from Jackson and cheaper guitars. they are just headaches. remember, you get what you pay for. gibsons go up in price every year and so do many fenders. pluss they sound great!

  4. Here, go to this site. It has many guitars for a great price.

There are many brands out there, and many of them are high in quality. If you are just wanting a cheap guitar then go to walmart or whatever and get one of those first act guitars, but if you are really wanting to move on in playing the guitar you should expect to pay a good $100 to $200 for a good first guitar. There are two types of guitars: acoustic and electric. Some really good brands are: Fender, Ibanez, Gibson, Martin, and Taylor

  5. ummmm... Gibson is great, ibanez is wonderful, washburn is pretty good, schecter is ok, epiphones are good, jackson is great, Fenders are good.

tips for guitar playing: learn all the basics you can like, chords strum patterns, how to read tabs, and a little bit of scales. then learn a little bit about music theory. trust me it will take at least 5 years of practice off of your playing.

  6. For not a lot of money you cant go wrong with a Scecter. I have had many different models and they ALL have been great. Hope this helps..
