  2. I love horror movies!

    Here are some:

    Jason collection

    Nightmare on Elm Street

    Wrong Turn

    Jeepers Creepers

I know what you did last summer and I Still know

    Scream 1 - 3

    Stephen Kings It

    Hitcher

    When a Stranger Calls

    Disturbia

Some of these are disgusting and gory but thats how most horror movies are these days. The list I gave you is still a really good list. I hope you enjoy some of these movies!!! Have Fun!!!  :)

  3. lightning bug, its not really a horror, but it is a great movie. makes me love halloween twice as much.

  4. Halloween series, any of them except #3, which makes no sense!

    Child's Play series

    Fear of the Dark

    The Faculty

  5. The Strangers will be coming out in October I think on DVD so you should really get that. Also Halloween is a good one. Try the new remake because the older one isn't so scary. Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm street movies.. you could play SAW.

Also try some Alfred Hitchcock films they aren't very bloody.

    Try

    Vertigo

    Physco

    The Birds

    Rear Window

    Dial M for Murder

There are just a whole bunch and they are really good for halloween!

  6. psycho

    the omen (the original)

    amityville horror (the original)

    Sream

    Halloween

    Urban Legends

  7. Firestarter and Carrie the old halloween movie

  8. hocus pocus is a really good movie.its a kids movie but its good for haloween.if you want scary try the omen original movies.there terrfying some gore but not much.

  9. Lady in white is totally a classic, it isn't gross, but it's really pretty scary!  Also it was created by disney I think, but don't overestimate it, watch with a friend

  10. If you want creepy and horror without the slasher/gore, here are some of my picks.

Halloween - the first and original, not really a slasher and very scary.

The Fog - the original one, not the remake, also nice and scary but a little bit gory.

Alien - like a haunted house story set in outer space.

Psycho is amazing, very suspenseful. You can't beat Hitchcock and it's a very creepy story.

The first Howling movie was good and scary but it is a bit gory.

Some of the movies made from Stephen King's novels are good, but most of the ones from short stories aren't as good. I did like The Mist though, along with The Tommyknockers, Storm of the Century, the original Carrie and The Stand (it's a very long movie though).

Some of the classic horror movies now seem a little corny like the original monster movies about Dracula, the Mummy, Wolfman and so on but they can still be fun and you can enjoy making fun of them a bit while you watch.

Most of the stuff made in the last 20 years or so is pretty gory, they've decided that shocking the audience is the same as scaring them, but I disagree. So check IMDB or ask someone at your local video store and then check IMDB or just watch it yourself first. Most of these are on cable more than once every Halloween.

Of course if you don't want any gore or nudity, just record them from tv, move them to your PC and edit out the commercials (and other objectionable parts), then put them on DVD.

**Edit to add The Omen, the first one is the best, the remake isn't as good.
