What are some good herbal insomnia remedies?

i want something thats not gonna give me day-time depression, wont make me groggy, and isnt to bad for my health. and will make me fall asleep fast and give me a restful night sleep, any ideas? thanks

  1. Try a tea called"sleepytime",it worked for me.


  2. Valerian roots, Melatonin and Tryptophan.               Tryptophan has been successfully used as a sleep aid. Serotonin does play a role in sleep regulation, but more importantly, serotonin is the precursor to melatonin, a hormone crucial to the sleep cycle. On its own, melatonin supplementation has been shown to be an effective treatment for insomnia; however, combining melatonin with tryptophan may prove even more effective.

  3. You should try out some Chamomile Tea for your insomnia.

  4. Natural remedies include warm milk, melatonin, valerian, 5-HTP and others that you can find in a web search for "natural sleep remedies".
