What are some good iron rich foods for vegetarians other than beans

  1. any green vegetable, such as spinach, broccolli and dark green cabbage. Parsley is also loaded with it.


  2. Spinach, raisins, prunes, kale, Swiss chard, Enriched breakfast cereals,

    Cooked beans and lentils, Pumpkin seeds, Blackstrap Molasses, nuts, tofu, dates, Raisin Bran, and broccoli.

    But just high iron foods cannot guaranty you will not have anemia problem.

    You also need vitamin B!2.

    And remember, eat something rich in vitamin C to ensure absorption.  Foods rich in vitamin C include citrus fruits, tomatoes, strawberries, watermelon, and bell peppers.
