Well... depending on how much you're willing to spend, and the kind of time on your hands you can try anything from stamping cards to scrapbooking. =)

Both don't have to be very pricy and make good gifts in the long run.

Uhm shopping at outlets is always great.

Getting a job staying busy, somewhere fun like starbucks or in the mall. Going to the movies or start a website. Talk with friends...making recipes your own.

Hey why not go to a craft or a hobby store and look around and I am sure something will jump out at you.  YOu will find something taht will get your attention and it might just be soemthing that you like so much that you are able to make some extra money on the side.  Good luck and have fun and try lots of things till you find something great.

Anything you like to do.  Try some simple kits.  I tried a knitting kit and am now addicted.  It is portable and people always stop to chat and ask about your craft.  It is a great ice breaker and you can chat and knit at the same time.  I also enjoy other needle crafts as well.  Crochet among other crafts.  Scrap booking is also a fund craft for all ages.  The craft parties are a blast.

Anything that you are into.

Doing things you genuinely enjoy means you'll meet people with the same interests.

ie. if you hate going to bars- don't do it JUST because you CAN. you will find people who like going to bars, become friends with them, and then you will have to go to bars all the time with them because it's "what they do"

Hypothetically, lets say you love going to the park. On a nice day, GO. Bring a book, read, bring a friend and dance around. Just have a good time.

Do anything that makes you laugh. I am 21 and most of my nights consist of watching I Love Lucy with friends, just relaxing in my home, reading ALOT of self-help and self-improvement books, answering questions on yahoo answers (because i feel so darn useful) and more.

If your artsy, go to the closest art store, pick up some supplies and make something you can sell on ebay.

if you like writing, start writing a book. That way when you get bored, you can always pick it up and add to to.

Rent movies you've never heard of, and maybe you'll find a new interest.

Surf the internet for information you want to know.

Work really hard NOW (since we are young enough) so that in the future when we are too tired to work because our physical bodies are older, you won't have to bust yourself because you worked now, when you were capable.

Make new friends, eat different foods you've never tried, listen to music you've never heard.

TRAVELLLLL!

Basically... explore the world.it's yours for the taking. 21 is the perfect age because you have SOME responsibilities that are not out of control.. so you have the time and the energy to explore...but you also have the flexibility to just GET UP and GO anywhere you want.

be impulsive and one night, just pick up a friend and drive to the beach, or some awesome location you've always wanted to see at night. (be careful though)

I personally write music on my keyboard and paint. When you bring a girl back to your place it's fun to play her songs or show her a gallery.

Try something you'd be proud to showing off that also challenges you. Hobbies arent just things to take up time. If that's all you care about, get a xbox or pc and play video games >.>
