I love following sports from 5 years ago. I am currently enjoying the 2004 baseball season.

It's great for so many reasons!

1) I know it has a happy ending (Red Sox win).

2) I save so much money on old Sports Illustrateds. People just give these away!

3) I save so much money on video games (Madden '03) was only $5!

4) I save so much money on clothing. I got a GREAT deal on a Shaq/Lakers jersey!

5) I save so much money on trading cards, old VHS tapes, and other memorabilia!

The downside is that it is hard to discuss my hobby with others. I am forced to start a conversation with, "Did you see that great hit Nomar had 5 years ago?"
