Question:

What are some good holiday reads for a 17 year old girl?

I don't want them to be too difficult but not too trashy either!

Maybe a mix! I want to read a diving bell and a butterfly, and also maybe the 'shopaholic' series. are they good? x*x

  1. One of my favourites if you haven't read it in school was 1984...If you haven't read it it's seriously a cool book and you should.

  7. "Shopaholic" series are excellent - I love them all, would defo recommend them.  Sophie Kinsella has written another 3 books, "Can you keep a secret?" being my fav!

    Jane Green writes some great "Chick-lit" books, and also you should try Katie Price's (Jordan) novels, they make an excellent summer read - although might not be to everyones taste.

    Im a 17 year old girl also and my favorite books are as follows!

    Are you experienced - William Suitcliff

    Its about a guy and a girl who travel to india to do some soul searching. Its quite light hearted and a fun read with serious issues and the right mix of innosent fun with a bit of s*x and drug abuse thrown in! I realy enjoyed it!

    Can you keep a secrete? - (cant remeber the author! sorry!)

    this is your general romantic comedy, brilliant holiday read. cant realy give too much away! but its easy and compelling at the same time.

    Daddys Girls

    My last holiday read! Looks scary but is actualy a realy easy read also. Realy loverly writing style and if you enjoy this book there are about 20 others all in the same style but seperate storys so there good to get into!

  13. the devil wears prada, i just read it and thought it was great, noughts and crosses by malorie blackman is a very good book too, hmm and rules of the road by joan bauer, hope that helps [im 17 and ive read all of these recently]
