  1. Well go to a babies R us and maybe look at the cribs and themes they have or if like maybe some one made you a quilt that you like for the baby then maybe you could base the color of the wall and the decoration for the room.

  2. Congratulations!  I am having a boy too.  Any my husband was just a tiny bit happier at first.  But now I am getting into it. The room stuff helped, there are a ton of cute boy themes.

I am going to do a brown sahara theme with elephants and tigers instead of the traditional colors.  I got a white crib and changing table but it would be super cute with neutral or light wood.  (CoCaLo is the brand).  I found Target, Pottery Barn Kids, Babies R Us all to have good selections (as well as Burlington Baby Depot).  Have fun!

  3. I would pick out a bedding theme that you both really like first..and then design the room around that. Use colors from the comforter to paint the walls...and then find other things to put in the room to match.

We are having a boy too and we picked out Pooh bedding. So our room is being painted blue & green and we are going to do some paintings of pooh, piglet, and all the other characters on the wall.

It's really up to you though, have fun with it though, that's the most important thing!!!

  4. Color the room light purple.

  5. welll my cousin is having a boy...

so she was going to paint 2 walls (facing each other) a light green and the other two either beige or white. & the border of the room like a jungle. Target & Babies R Us have this kind of border, curtains, lamps, decorations like picture frames and such, theres also blankets, and covers for the babies crib.

    Hope I helped!

    & Congratulations.

  6. Don't be too matchy-matchy for boys' rooms.  Either do a neutral wall color and colorful bedding/ curtains... or else vice versa.  Sports are always a good theme because you don't have to buy a whole matching set - you can pick up random pieces that you like as far as bedding, lamps, curtains, throw rug, and wall decorations.  If you're not into sports, then you can do cars, trucks, fire engines, airplanes, frogs and bugs, treehouse theme, etc.

  7. moons & astronauts ? oh and stars too so cool and get some glow in the dark stars

or maybe a jungle theme or a nature theme ?
