What are some good ideas for a project that I have to make something out of something that I used?

Go pick up an old beer bottle and clean it out and put a flower in it and give it to your teacher if she is a woman. Flowers are blooming everywhere right now.

Make a bird feeder out of a 2 ltr soda bottle.

Use a shoe box for a diorama.

Use old clothes to make a scarecrow for the garden.  Think art more than scaring off critters from your garden, unless that's what you need!

Use your trash to make a collage.

Give used clothing to the Goodwill.

egg carton use as a seed bed for germinating plant seeds

broken hockey sticks make a ice fishing tip up

plastic pop bottles(600ml) fill with beans(dried ones)and make cheering rattles

used to be able to buy a paper log roller you took old newspapers inserted into roller and tightly rolled a paper log for the fireplace made by Ronco( google it)
