What are some good ideas for a sweet 16 party?

I am turning 16 in a couple months and I still don't know what to do 4 a party!!! I have tons of ideas but i need more! Help please!!!!!!

WOW- this is fun!!! ok for my step doughter we had a hawiain party. we got some bambo from the woods and the tops we use as the roof, and build a hut, with torches aroud it, and a door, inside we had chairs for her guest,friends))  and a sterio out side playing the the song on a movie dont no the name of hands but the movie with the zebra and the craetures was singing,  ( the movie where the zebra left the zoo in town)  anyway we had that playing and had a 8x 6 ft plywood with baloons on it and behind the baloons where happy birthday to ? after they all busted the balloons, and gave prizes out,  and grilled out to, alot of fun.....check on the song,

I'm turning 16 in October, and I am facing the same problem! It all depends on how many friends you want to invite, and what sort of stuff you like. If you like bat mitzvahs or dancing, rent out a place and get a DJ, and pick a color theme. You can ask your guests to dress up formally if you want to have a fairy-tale like setting. If you don't want to invite many people, try having your close circle of friends out to a nice restaurant and sleep over or do something like go to an amusement part or an arcade. Find what you like to do and expand on it. The possibilities are endless. :)
