For my M.O.H I selected her favortie stone, which was Opal and I bought a beautiful change to put the stone on. This was not for her to wear in the wedding, but something special for her to keep, it wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. She can pass this down to her children some day.

My fiance has gotten his Best Man a round of golf (with him) at a very elite golf course and has gotten him a golf towel that we had embroidered with "Thanks For Being There" and the date he asked him to be his best man lol. I thought it was cute.

Bridesmaids:

Gourmet Chocolates, they came in boxes of 4 and I was able to select the 4 in each box, and I also bought them a elegant (old fashion) handkerchiefs.

Groomsmen:

Golf Balls w/ there names on them, Golf Tees w/ there names on them and golf towels that say "Grooms Team" on them.

Often you can purchase the jewellery you would like your attendants to wear... and that can be their gift.  I already owned a pearl necklace, so the bride purchased me some pearl earrings to wear with them... Guys are hard... possibly cufflinks, or a bottle of alcohol.  Guys are really into the sentimental side though... so I found a bottle of their favourite alcohol... or alcohol they wouldn't normally buy themselves is a nice idea.
