  1. salon gift certificates to get themselves a massage from all of the stress they encounter each day dealing with your crazy children!

  2. Teachers always are taking money out their pockets to buy materials for their class. So either I would say a nice gift basket with materials or duble it up with a nice gift card to Staples and a relaxing kit.

  3. books for the class  there are a lot of award winning childrens books out there..we gave my younger son's class ( kindergarten) the book    click clack moo... cows that type  maybe some of those wooden puzzles  i know teachers have to get a lot of their own supplies  the teachers at our school have a wish list posted on or by their door for parents who can help donate items to the class.

  4. A ornament, or a picture frame, or a box of candy, a gift card to their favorite coffee shop.

  5. Gift cards are always a good idea.  Apple anything.  Ornaments that say "A+ teacher" are good too!Be careful with candles and perfumes -- we all like different fragrances.  And some of us are trying to get our figure back so chocolates might not be the best idea.  The best thing for your teacher will depend on the teacher.  Gift cards are good because then the teacher can pick their own gift.

Make sure the gift card is something the teacher would use.  Also, with coffee mugs -- not everyone drinks coffee or hot chocolate/tea.  Be sure to chose your gift according to the teacher.

    I hope this helps.

  6. starbuck cards

  7. A basket of supplies would be appreciated like you wouldn't imagine.  If you can see before hand the things that they use often that is not provided by the school and has to be paid out of their own pocket, then that is the key!

  8. gift certificate to a restaurant for 2

  9. GOD Please.. Nothing with apples on it! This is coming from a teacher. We get tired of getting the same old thing. It would be really nice to get a gift certificate to a book store, resteraunt, or to the movies. It wouldn't even be that expensive if all the parents tried to go in together and get it.

  10. A gift basket with supplies for the classroom. Such as art supplies and things of that nature. You want to be careful with giving chocolates or fragrances because many people have allergies to fragrances and there are those who are allergic to chocolate. Anything with the child's picture on it would be nice too. The apple thing has been way overdone. I would rather have something that the child made themselves than anything store bought.

  11. HARDCOVER EASY CHILDRESN PICTURE BOOKS LIKE THE HUNGRY ATERPILLAR, ETC... a CLASSIC!

  12. A Hand Made Card

  13. I still use the mugs that were given to me by students 20 years ago, and can remember the name of each child. Homemade candy and cookies are always welcome too, especially if the child has help make them.

  14. There are always good gift ideas at Things Remembered and Red Envelope.

  15. hmmm. homemade goodies would be nice. or something that says their name on it. like "miss hanson" on a cushion. hahaha

  16. Anything that has to do with these words, "Stress Relief."

Think about the fact that they are around 25+ kids all day long. I appreciate them for all they do for our kids!

  17. where i live, theres a place called the emporium and if you know of one, then theres where you can find really cute things for the women teachers, they usually have like little apples on them that say abc or something like that. maybe a teacher ornament to hang on their tree or even like a gift card to dunkin donuts or the movies! ha! thats what we usually do. there usually thankful for whatever they get.

  18. gift certificates are usually best, then they can choose their own. plz no apples or abc themed things, that is soooo overdone. mugs, not everyone drinks coffee, and candles, not eveyone likes the same scent.

  19. dora books to read to them.

  20. fake apples with funny saying are always good i guesse but make it appropriot so she can display it on her desk lol

  21. At the daycare where I work, a couple of the parents have done lunches for us, as in pizza or even just appetizers and cold cuts. I work with about 15 or so staff, so it would be costly for the parents to buy each of us a gift, but this way they include everyone, and we really appreciate it!

  22. Please do not get them anything teacher or cutesy, they get that with your child every day.  I am sure they love what they are doing and the children they work with but they are people too.  Get them a gift certificate for the movies, a massage, Bath and Body Works, etc.  I have a lot of Christmas tree ornaments that were made by my students which I love.  I remember those students every year when I decorate my tree.  Thanks for asking, I hope it helps.

  23. I was once a Preschool teacher. My favorite gifts:

    1. Framed pics of the kids

    2. A mug that said something like "It doesn't matter what's in your bank account. It matters that you made a difference in the life of a child." That's not the exact phrase, but you get the idea.
