  1. add ribbons and small silk flowers to make them pretty, store your bubble bath in them, or body lotion. put little tags on them telling what they are. use different colors and sizes. Put bath salts in them, different colors if the bottles are clear. use them on your desk to store paper clips, rubber bands.

  2. At your local craft shop you can find lots of ideas, including a glass cutting kit that includes a string glass cutter, that is used to cut the tops off from bottles and turn them into decorative glasses.

  3. Use them for a bottle tree - look up on Internet. I'm saving all colors of bottles for my tree and my friend is saving blue bottles for hers.

  4. I have seen on different renovation shows that people have re-used glass (or ceramic) to create beautiful table tops or counter tops from them. They claim it is durable, and is beautiful with different colours. You dont necessarily have to make counter tops for your kitchen or anything, but even getting an old deck table, or side table, remodelling it and putting the crushed glass on top.

    I know you would want to recycle the glass after, but think: when you create a beautiful table, you can sell it after and that way someone else is re-using it instead of purchasing a new one! reduce, reuse and recycle: you are doing it all!

    hope this helped :)

  5. I have seen them melted flat and used as trivets or spoon holders, cheese trays, plaques, etc and sold at craft shows and in shoppes. Especially wine bottles. You could also group them by size, color etc. put a flower in each, set on a window sill and practice photographing them as a group and sell your pictures. You could sell all three ideas on ebay.

  6. smash them to bits glue the bits to the inside of a large glass picture frame and remove the back of the picture frame and hang it in front of a window so that the light shines through it and presto - trash art!;

    you could even make more and sell them on ebay, with half the proceeds going to the cleanup of American beaches!

    I like run-on sentences!

    Also, I live ~30 mins. from lake lanier.

  7. Some people made a house out of them- cemented them into walls with the ends pointing either in or out.   Better collect a few more.

  8. I saw a woman who lived in the woods once made an entire room out of glass bottles and mortar. It gave amazing lighting to the room and actually insulated itself pretty well!

    You can also use them as vases, or turn them into bongs... :D

    I like the persons idea to use glass cutters and see what you can do with that.

    Hope this helps :)
