  1. The Unlovables and Karin Fredrika

  2. Neutral Milk Hotel.

Listen to "Oh Comely", IT IS EPIC.

The singer doesn't sing that well, but he sings loud.

  3. split lip rayfield (splitliprayfield.com)

    the white ghost shivers (http://www.myspace.com/whiteghostshivers...

    Red Lefty (redlefty.com)

  4. Newer?

    HGH

    Older?

Incredible String Band never got much recognition - especially in the USA. Not an indie band really (their stuff came out on Electra, Island and Warner Brothers) but they were pretty d**n great nonetheless.

  5. Secondhand Serenade

    Backseat Goodbye

    NeverShoutNever!

    The Scene Aesthetic

    Ellington

    The Jamestown Story

    Holiday Parade

    Lisa Mitchell

    The Spill Canvas

  6. Listen to the Eric Clapton album Acoustics. He does his best songs all on acoustical guitar live. It is excellent. Others acoustical groups include Fleetwood Mac, America, Bread, etc.

  7. Love as Laughter is pretty cool

and no one I know knows them:)

  8. Why should it matter that they are not well known? Trying to impress someone?

Anywho, I've always been a fan of:

    Elliot Smith

    The Shins

    The Magic Numbers

    Doug Matrsch

  9. The unicorns,

    Arctic Monkeys

    Lily Allen

    Hot hot heat

    Mystery Jets

    The wombats

    The cribs

    The Duke spirit

    Tegan and sara

Hope this helps, I don't know if a couple are well known or not since they are newly discoverd by myself.

  10. That depends on your interpretation of the word "good". Check out this band: Liars. Indie, not accoustic. The video for Houseclouds is entertaining even if you don't like the band.
