What are some good indoor plants, how to take care them?

i m planing to create a small indoor garden in my apartment. need some advice as which plants are good and will live longer. i have a money-plant but its getting yellowish and dieing even though i water it ever day. may be because of humid. the city i live in is very hot and humid all 12 months

  1. Peace lily, mother-in-law's tongue, pothos ivy, ficus, ponytail palm.  Your money-plant may be getting too much water!

    Google "indoor house plants".  You will get a ton of information.


  2. Ferns, Madonna(Spathophylum) begonias,rubber plants,etc. Just ask at your local plant nursery.

  3. First of all, most plants need light from a window or some overhead florescent bulbs that give some type of shadow. Also, you need to put your finger an inch into the soil to make sure it is dry. Often the top is dry but underneath is still wet. It will rot the roots if they stay soggy. I have luck with ivy, dumb cane, pony tails, corn plants and terrariums. Good Luck
