What are some good italian souvenirs for a boy?

I wanted to get my boyfriend a souvenir from italy while he is away in the marines to surprise him when he comes back. whats some good ideas?

My son bought some stuff from the Ferrari Museum in Maranello near Modena - model cars, note paper, lanyards etc. He also liked a globe of the world (small, about 3 or 4 inches high) from the Murano glass factory. There are also lots of silly, s**y things in the markets - key rings, BBQ aprons etc.

They have the coolest fishing rods. They can collapse down to 1ft and open up to more than 15ft long .I had one when I went there when I was young and I brought it back and boy I tell you I was the only one here with anything like it. It was so cool and I caught a fish so big on it that it must have been over 60/65 pds and the rod held up bucause it was 15ft long but the 50pd test stretched so much that the fish took half the line and stretched the rest out so I had to replace the line and I lost the fish but the rod lasted for close to 20years before it fell apart.Good luck and God bless you .
