What are some good jobs? What should I major in?

I'm planning on going to college next year and I was wondering if there was a website that I can go on to check out different majors. I don't know what I want to do yet. I have an idea, but I would love a list of jobs and their salary, with description.

If you want salaries, type in the job name + bls (ie. investment banking + bls.) BLS is a government site with very detailed descriptions about the nature of the work, how much the industry is projected to grow (ie. how hard it will be to get a job in that field), and salary.

just to make a point...

your asking for jobs and their salaries....

Try not to be in it just for the money...Ultimately if your not lucky enough to hit the lottery and you have to work for a living, you better like what you do....Every day when you wake up, if your stuck in a job that you hate, it's misery every day even if the money is decent.

If you have a passion for what you do, you'll always be the best you can be.

try to do something that interests you and something you know you will like doing...and if the money is there great....
