What are some good jobs for a 13 year old?

I don't mind doing a lot of work.

And I don't mind not getting paid that much.

I'm just looking for a way to get money.

It's not like my mom doesn't give me money, it's just that I'm trying to save up to buy a Gibson Les Paul.

Yeah, I know, that's bit far out there. But if I start saving now, I'll be that much closer. =D

I CAN DREAM, CAN'T I?

But seriously, any job ideas?

  1. I don't know about where you live, but the laws in my area are you can get a certain type of job at 14. Babysitting, lemonade stand, shovel snow, mow lawn, walk dogs, tutor, sell some old things, watch a neighbours house when they are on vacation/away, paper route, do favours for neighbours.

  2. mowing yards or dog sitting

  3. Try some online jobs, where you don’t have to pay upfront money. Online data entry is an excellent career to consider if you want to work at home. 4. You are too young to start work.

  5. Online stock trades.  Learn on a practice site (not one that costs money).

    Paper Route.

    Baby-sitting.

    Become an Ebay trader.

Learn to assemble computers (A+ certification) and do computer repair for fun and money.

An parent owned home based business works.

Find a successful business person, like at least with a $500,000 net worth.  Ask them if you can interview them once per week about their work.  Keep a journal.  Ask them to review it and comment.  Learn how to do good business from someone who knows how to do good business.  That way you can come up with your own great ideas.

The average american laborer makes $35,000 per year.  Thats over $2000 per month, or $500 per week.  They aren't remarkably bright or talented.  I see no reason why age means more than intelligence, hard work, or determination.  I see no reason why you can't make $500 a week by being innovative, and committed.  There is a reason that real adults scoff at Mc-Jobs - its not worth having.
