You could wash cars for your neighbors and family, walk people's dogs, or take a babysitting job!

When I was 11, I babysat for my little cousins during the week and every Friday I baby 3 little girls down the street from my house.  My aunt paid me $4 an hour to babysit my cousins, which was from after school until 6pm.  So I made $60 a week from my Aunt and the lady down the street paid me $25 on Friday nights.  So I made $85 a week!  Not bad!

If you wanted to get into babysitting job, most hospitals offer babysitting classes and give you a certificate when you complete it.  Afterwords, you could put an ad in the paper and see if people need a babysitter in your area.  Or you could post an ad about dog walking or car washing!  Good luck!!!

Legally you can't work anywhere. Your only bet is doing chores for your parents, parent's friends,  help neighbors, and possibly babysit in a year or two. Until 16, I think these are your only options.  Luckily, an 11 year old doesn't have too many bills to pay.
