  1. http://astore.amazon.com/discount-golf-c...

website is discount golf clubs &accessory Guarantee 30 day

  2. under 250?   wow ummmmmmm your gonna have to get some used clubs...check ebay maybe some callaway x18 might be down to that...or even callaway vft...those were great clubs..but you will have to get used for that price

  3. the used market is the best! there are tons of deals u can find. under $250 is tough, but u can get close. like someone mentioned earlier, u can wait and find X-18's, X-16, X-14's, X-12, those are moderate game improvement clubs. U might also be able to find the Big Bertha 96, BB 02, and maybe even BB04 for that much. if you're not in a hurry to buy u can get a deal like that on ebay. i just saw X-Tours sell for $240 and $270 and the X Tours were significantly more expensive than the X-18's and BB's. i believe Nike Slingshots are around $250 used too. Ping makes great GI clubs, but they tend to be more expensive.

    Nike Slingshots $229 + sh.

  4. Adams Idea A2's.

    MacGregor MACTEC NVG2

The Adam's A2 set is available from www.rockbottomgolf.com for $269.  This set consists of a transition set; 3 and 4 "irons" are hybrids instead of regular irons.  Rest of the set are your regular irons.  The 5, 6 & 7 are "hollow back", so they have fairly wide soles and COG placed low and toward the rear.  The 8, 9 & PW are "undercut cavity", or your typical cavity back, with the undercut channel.  This allows the weight to be placed low and to the rear.

The MacGregor NVG2's are avaialbe from www.golfsmith.com for $249.  Based on reviews from web sources and other discussion forums, these are very, very playable for beginners.  They are described as having a "hot face" where the ball just jumps off the face.

  5. There is no such thing as a game improvement iron. If you have no talent, there will be little improvement. The person has to have the proper swing for clubs to be of benefit. Don't think there is anything in the "new" club market for under $ 250. There may be used thru Goodwill, The Salvation Army, and check the local proshops at country clubs for members who purchased new sets.Sometimes , their old sets are available.
