What are some good methods for studying for the SAT?

I take the SAT in October and i was just wondering how i can efficiently prepare myself. What did/do you do?

I studied for at least a month--don't procrastinate, and I used kaplan's comprehensive book and 12 practice tests book. All you need to do is practice, practice, practice- literally. Work on your weakest parts and practice your stong parts occasionally. Don't use online resources- if the test is on paper, why practice online??? Princeton Review is my second choice, and NEVER use Barron's.
