i am a mexican who loves chinese food and likes mexican food and well im always wondering what are some things i can cook....

  1. How about sweet & sour chilli. You can get the best of both foods together then.

    Sweet & sour sauce is easy to make. Tomato sauce and balsamic vinegar is all you need along with some chicken bits. Fry the chicken until almost cooked and then add the tomato sauce, balsamnic vinegar,along with some olive oil. Then add a small chilli and fry until it caramelizes slightly.

    Wow!!


  2. MEXICAN BROCCOLI - RICE CASSEROLE  

    1 pkg. frozen broccoli

    1 jar Mexican style Cheez Whiz

    1 can cream of mushroom soup

    1 can instant rice

    Cut broccoli in pieces. Mix in Cheez Whiz, mushroom soup and 1 can instant rice. Bake.


  3. V's Mexican Quiche (maxican recipe)

    SERVES 8 -10 (change servings and units)

    Ingredients

    1 lb bulk Italian sausage (or pork sausage)

    20 ounces condensed cream of potato soup, undiluted (2 cans)

    12 eggs

    1 bunch cilantro

    1 (3 ounce) can diced green chilies (diced)

    1 small onion, diced

    3/4 cup milk

    1/4 teaspoon pepper

    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    Directions

    1)In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.

    2)Stir in soup.

    3)In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk and pepper; stir in sausage mixture.

    4)Add chopped cilantro, green chilis and onions, add soup, stir until well blended.

    5)Transfer to a lightly greased (or cooking spray) 11-in x 7-in x 2 inches baking dish.

    6)Sprinkle with cheese.

    7)Bake uncovered at 375* for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center come out clean.

    Ginger Almond Wafers (chinese recipe)

    SERVES 26 , 26 cookies (change servings and units)

    Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

    1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled, diced

    1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled minced

    1 tablespoon ground ginger

    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    3/4 cup almonds, whole and toasted

    3 tablespoons whipping cream

    3 tablespoons crystallized ginger, chopped

    powdered sugar

    Directions

    1)Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line 2 heavy large baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine first 7 ingredients in processor and blend using on/off turns until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add almonds, cream and crystallized ginger and process just until moist clumps form. Shape dough into 1 1/4 inch diameter balls. Place on prepared sheets. Moisten bottom of glass: dip into powdered sugar and press each dough ball to 1/4 inch thickness.

    2)Bake cookies until brown on bottom and at edges, about 28 minutes. Transfer cookies to rack and cool.

    3)Store in airtight container at room temperature.

    ummm...i dont know any chinese recipes but you can always ask around or just look some up online...
