This may not be a mexican recipe but if you get the double decker tacos kit and you get your regular taco stuff and instead of cooking hamburger meat, cut up peices of steak and cook it and use the steak meat as the taco meat in the double decker taco.. My husband and I were playing around with different things and came across that and it's so good.

get a steak and put some cheese and beans on it.

Answer 9

Fajitas and steak taco salad.  Marinate your steak in a combo of Italian dressing and taco seasoning.  Grill it and slice it thin for either recipe.  Grill onions and peppers along with it.  Squeeze lime juice over all.

This is just a fast-fix substitute for the traditional fajita marinade.  It's really good, though.
