What are some good movie's like donnie darko?

in donnie darko i didnt really like the si-fi parts of itbut what i did like was the awkward teenage boy part of it so if you know any movies that are like that it would be awesome =] oh and i dont want to watch some crapy PG movielike high school musical or seelpover

Maybe "Edward Scissorhands" (I'm pretty sure everyone and their grandma has seen that movie by now...)
