We loved the recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers movies. You can use the movie as the theme for the birthday, and make games around it too.

Pretty much anything by Pixar! Ratatouille would be awesome, Cars or the Incredibles. Action movies like Spiderman would be ok if he's into those, but my 8 yr old saw the Goonies yesterday for the first time and he thought it was freaking hilarious! That's an oldie but a goodie!

When my son was 8 (last year) he thought the movie "How to Eat Fried Worms" was great! It's got all the gross stuff boys love in it.
