What are some good out of the tank activities for Gerbils?

I want to know some more out-of-the-tank activities I can do with my Gerbils, I already take them in the empty bath, and I let them climb on me, I also let them occasionally run around my room, and dust baths.

Is there anything else that they would like doing out of the cage?

10 points to whoever gives me the best ideas.

  1. Gerbils should not live in a tank to start with, it doesn't really give proper ventilation.

You can buy a large play pen and place it on the floor, and then find items around your house for them to play with. They'll enjoy tubes, tunnels, wooden items to chew, cardboard boxes to play in, etc. Scatter snacks around the play area for them to explore and find for even more fun!

  2. well, you can buy a wall thingy for them to just run around in. Or you could buy something they can run around in.

  3. .If your park has a track around it then walk it

              HOW??

    1 get a 1/2 or 2 ft long craft string from wal*mart

2 make your gerbil be still and LOOSLY tie the string the way dog harneses are

3 ☻CAUTION☻ when taking off be verry careful

    Make it a play house

             HOW??

1.buy some cement from your hard were store Put a little less water than it say on box

2 wear gloves and mold into a play house with ramps and halls and rooms and doors ect.

  4. Build a tunnel house/mansion out of cardboard boxes and toilet paper tubes. Just make sure you're supervising, cause they can gnaw their way out fast. It's fun building it, and then watching them play! Hope you have fun!
