  1. There's lots you can do!

You can do a spa party.  You can have her friends over and get some help and do the girls' make-up, hair, manicures, pedicures, etc.  Get them lots of snacks and junk foods.  Things they normally don't have all the time, let them have and let them have fun with!  Pamper them and give them the real spa experience at home. Tell them to wear their pjs and flip flops so they don't mess up their pedicures!

You can do an ice cream bar for them too.  Go to the dollar store and get those tall clear plastic sundae glasses and get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and lots of toppings.  Sprinkles, whipped cream, cherries, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, etc.  Let the girls make their own sundaes.

You can do a real kind of movie night.  Make 'tickets' for the invites that the girls need to get in.  Buy an inexpensive red carpet and put it by the entrance of your home and line it with either solar lights or clear stringed Christmas lights so the girls will be entering on the red carpet.  Then get black foamboard or plywood and paint it black and then in silver paint your daughter's name and that it's her b'day and then put lights around that so her name's in lights, just like a real movie marquee.  Then you can tell the girls to bring their blankets and pillows to lounge out on during the movie.  You can pick up boas and sunglasses and things at the dollar store and put up solid colored sheet and have the girls wear their props and take pictures in front of sheet with each other like real stars.  You can also take their picture coming in on the red carpet.  You can put the boas on them and the glasses and they can pose in front of the sheet with each other.  You can go to the craft store and get some blank frames and have the girls decorate them during the party so they can put a picture of themselves from the party in it.  Get movie stickers from the scrapbooking area and some paint and things and the girls will have fun decorating them at the "after' party after the movie.  LOL You can even go to the dollar store and get those cardboard popcorn buckets and microwave popcorn and then big boxes of movie candy.  During the movie, each girl gets their own popcorn bucket and they can pass around the candy.  After the movie they can have pizza and ice cream or cake or whatever and do their frames, etc.

You can also set up an Around the world dinner party.  If your daughter likes tacos, set up a taco bar with all the toppings and decorate that area like Mexico, then do pizza and set up the area like Italy and so on.

You can take the girls to a nearby amusement park or water park for the day, I'm sure they would love that.

Do you have a Dave & Buster's nearby?  You can take your daughter there with her friends.  That place is always a hit, they can go there and play games and eat lunch or dinner and then go back home for a sleepover or for cake and ice cream.

You can set up a backyard bbq and do hamburgers and hot dogs, with an ice cream bar and do an afternoon of games and relay races.  You can do potato sack races, three legged races, water balloon fights, etc.  You can set up some lawn chairs and umbrellas for the kids that may not want to play.  You can set up a net for badmitten and volleyball.  You can do the spoon race where you give them the raw egg on the spoon and they have to race to the finish line without dropping and breaking the egg, etc.

I hope some of these ideas help and that your daughter has a great party and a very Happy Birthday!

  2. plan a theme party since they are probably still into cartoons. like spongebob or barbie or something

  3. you could have a mall scvenger hunt with the girls. divide into teams and give each group a list of weird items and a disposible camera. Have them find the items and take a picture with them, first group done wins and gets a cute little prize. then you could come home and give makeovers and play sleepover games like truth or dare, never have i ever etc. The whole thing would be relatively inexpensive you would just need money for cameras and food!
