  2. hi, we are throwing an anniversary party for my parents our theme is a Card Night.  We wanted to do a casino but it is way to much money when you try to put it all together.  Instead we are having a Euchre tournament and decorating with the suits.  Cutouts of cardboard spray painted red and black, dice made out of cardboard boxes and playing cards taped to the walls everywhere.  We are on a low budget so almost all of our money is going towards food and entertainment Elivis!  All of the decorations we are making.  " I dont really have a budget, "  do you mean you have all the money you could need to do whatever or you are low budget?  Casino would be great if he liked that sort of thing and money was no object.  Other ideas are 50's like a sock hop.  or you could do 70's groovy.  from when he was a teen.  Help to know what kind of things he was into.

  3. STRIPPERS!!! ESCORTS!!!!

  4. Ask everyone you invite to bring a copy of  their favorite book for him and ask them to write a note on the inside front cover telling him why it's their favorite book.

  5. It's just about finding out what is fun to him and really interests him.

My dad and stepmom both work in workers unions, so for his 50th we set up a rather large "meeting" where the speeches given were as if they were being given at a socialistic union meeting ("Comrades..."), big red flags everywhere, we sang the unions and socialistic partys song and so on. It was really a lot of fun as most of my dads friends work in the same industry, so we could all joke about it...

    Good luck!

  6. My mom just had a b-day and we threw her a surprise party at a restaurant!  Had lunch at one of her favourite places and she had no idea all the people we invited!  We invited her brothers and sisters and some close friends that she doesn't get to see everyday.  We bought a cute cake and a plastic crown for her to wear and had tulips sitting at the table.  She was VERY excited about it.  Talked about it for days. You should surprise him!!  It was fun for everyone
