what sylvia said. Also think government jobs. if you take a placement test and qualify in  many cases you only need  high school diploma. gov. jobs pay well, have great benefits and even have a pension plan.

factories, of course--some pay really really well.

Managers of any retail or fast food place make pretty decent.

Autowork gets decent money (service like oil and tires and things).

A lot of places will pay for your training if you find a job you like that requires a specific certificate or degree.
