What are some good pets for young teens like 13 years old???

What r some good ideas for pets for a 13 year old who can play with them/take them out of where ever they sleep and play with them, r not too exspencive,and r not : cats,dogs,turtles,hampsters,snakes,or iguanas/lizzards????

Ferrets are fun and love to play the only probelm is that they get into everything and will eat everything.

Cats are dogs are prblly the best, and fish suck.

It depends on what the teen likes. You could buy parakeets or a cockatiel. You could also buy a Dwarf Rabbit. They're really small, cute, and cuddly. You can also buy a pet tarantula.

Well you elinated all the good ones. I would recommend a ferret, (really cute, fun, nice) a rat, (dont bite, love to be held,) a sugar glider, or a hedgehog, (nice, cute, cudley,) And most of those arent allowed in states but theres ones in Idaho, Texas, etc. There all cheap too (less then 100) Also, if you dont have those, i reallyyy would get a hamster, i had two before named Max and Joey, and they were the nicest everrr. Oh yeah, and theres a bunny, there smart, cute, not expensive, and cudley.!

guinnea pigs they are the friendliest animals ever they come with a built in sensor that tells them not to hurt the hand thet feeds them like the others that you have named above,

you can have them in the house or outside in a cage you can bath them train them or just cuddle them you can also take them to contests to show them they are brilliant

plus they talk to you!!

rats yes i know ewwwww but no there not they are said to be just like dogs but well tiny they love to have there bellys rubed and the are very loal and most mice dont bite they will tech respones a billety oh and buy two they need a conpainion well i hope this helps do not get iganias or lizards they are cheap but what they need is very coastly and they are very hard to rasie it take a lot of time deadication money and room to onwen one an igaunie can get up to 6 feet

Guinea pigs and rabbits make good pets, but you have to make sure they are handled well as babies. Guinea pigs will bite if they were previously mistreated or improperly socialized, so it's best to get it from a breeder if at all possible, or a pet store that will allow you to handle it. Their bedding needs to be changed frequently or it will start to smell and you'll get maggots.

Ferrets are great pets, but tend to smell and can bite if they get annoyed. Hedgehogs are good pets, but in some states they are banned, or considered exotic pets.

Turtles make awesome pets, and some are very open to being handled out of the water. I had a lot of fun setting up my softshell's housing as a kid and she was very sweet.

they dont bite

their fairly cheap like $20-$25

they can live up to 8 years (or longer if ur lucky)

their social and friendly creatures

they eat almost any kind of fruits and veggies

they l**k like a dog, purr like a cat, and yet are small and soft like a bunny!

I've heard chinchilla's are good too, and they can live up to 15 years!
