I've seen many programs for kids between this age but, there's so many it's hard to know what works and what doesn't. A couple dif. brands are Leap Frog, Vtech and Hooked on Phonics. Any of you used this type of product with your own kids? Thanks in advance! =D

  1. My sister found great results with hooked on phonics, but a cheaper alternative (and a little more fun) is the Reader Rabbit cpu games, every subject, reading to math, and I think they are available at walmart.

  2. I go for the Reader Rabbit pc games.

  3. Go where many teachers go. A church/school supply store has allot of choices. And just think!..you know your kids better than anyone else so you can choose! BTW..it won't empty your pocket book. Teachers go there!

  4. Leap Frog works with MANY of the mainstream cartoon companies and if your children like cartoons, it may not be hard to get them to "play" with Leap Frogs toys.  My daugther is 2 and she has the new Leap Frog computer with the Dora game.  Since my living room is dominated by Dora, she loves the game.

  5. I can suggest that the best games for da age mentioned are miniclip cuz they are the most educative games and they also provide you with fun..........since after 3 is da character building age of children so they should be paid great attention relating their education, fun, games etc!

    GOOD LUCK!

  6. I have heard good things about the leap frog word and letter factory videos.

Here are some preschool alphabet activities you can do with your children:
