There are main cities in Brazil you must go if you intend to visit the country. São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador (for Carnival). In São Paulo, as it is a very busy city with over 15 million people, the best thing to do is enjoy nightlife (the best night I´ve ever seen around the world), restaurants, bars and shopping are also excellent. In Rio, you enjoy the sunlight and beautiful beaches, beautiful people, worderful sightseeing and also very good nightlife. Now in Salvador the atmosphere is totally different, even for Brazilians. It seems you are in a place you have never imagined, happy, hot and very nice people. If you plan to know Carnival, go to Salvador and you will be sure that happines chose that place to live. Nobody is the same after being there.

If you have 6 months to spare then Rio is the place.Brazil is big and it can all be wrapped up in the city that offers everything.Try the beaches(Copacabana,Ipenema,Leblon,etc.)T... nightlife(bars,shows,samba)The food(seafood,fruit,Brazilian Bar-b-que)The sports(Socker,beach games)Sightseeing(landarks,mountains,sea... beauty)Garotas(Brizilian Girls) and much,much more.Go for Carnival if you can afford the increse in prices.Nothing in the world like it.
