I went to d**k's for my birthday and it was so funny! They're known for their waiter's being really rude and goofy with you. The ribs were delicious and you won't stop laughing!

Fire & Ice is also really neat too. You pick out whatever you want, put it in a bowl, then stand around this giant grill as they cook it for you. Best part is that you can go up as many times as you want.

If they are into music, I'd recommend the Hard Rock Cafe, which is downtown. You get all kinds of goodies and such on your birthday

If you want a quiet and nice place with reasonable prices and classy food, try the Fireplace in Washington Square

yeah, it's touristy, but that's kind of good for parties, 'cause you can be as loud as you want. if you like seafood, it's the place to be. and raw oysters make for fun eating.
