What are some good places to shop in St.Thomas?

I need to know what the best places in St.Thomas are to go shopping. I am not sure what the city is but were staying in the Ritz Carlton so somewhere around there...so...

You are about a mile and half from Red Hook (east end of island) There is shopping at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook. Some very good restaurants too. Red Hook is also where you catch the ferry to St John. However, the Ritz's catamaran transports guests to St. John and other islands for snorkeling and swimming (surcharge).

The shopping in St John is very good too. No car needed, the shopping area is right near the ferry (Cruz Bay). Not as crazy as Charotte Amalie.

If you are looking for jewelry, check out FreeBird Jewelry store on St John. After shopping have some drinks at the Beach Bar. They serve excellent painkillers and bushwackers.

There are stores all over St. Thomas but the shopping havens are Downtown Charlotte Amalie and Havensight.  The Ritz Carlton isn't really near any really great shopping.  Nearby the Ritz is American Yacht Harbor where you'll find a few stores but nothing near what you'll find Downtown and in Havensight.
