There is every possible chain you can think of in Chicago. But there are great neighborhood places as well. If you look up on the web Lettuce Entertain You, they have a variety of restaurants that they own and they are all good. One of my favorites for the price range you are looking at is Wild Fire. It was originally opened by Oprah. They cook over a wood fire. The aroma of the place when you walk in will make your mouth water. Ed Debevics is like an old diner. They put on an act of grumpy servers but it is just an act. The food is very good. If you are in the burbs, the Patio has some great burgers and ribs. They have several locations. There is incredible pizza in Chicago, my top 3 are Lou Malnoties, Uno's, and Giordano's. Gino's East is good too. Levy operates some good restaurants as well. Harry Careys dinners are a little pricey, but you can always get a salad or sandwich. All their food is very good. You can probably find all of these operators menu's on line. Then you could better plan out your selection. Hope you enjoy!

Lee Wing Wah in Chinatown- large portions of excellent food at reasonable prices.

Ricobene's on 26th St.- the breaded steak sandwich is awesome.

Santorini's in Greektown- their seafood is outstanding and the price is nice.

do u want fancy or like fast food??? well uhhhh Sbaro is kinda fancy but cheap, T.G.I Friday's is a really nice resturant  and Bennigan's is like T.G.I's

Chicago is well known for their deep dish pizza!  Try Gino's East!  You can get a good sized pizza and deep dish is FILLING!
