What are some good prewriting ideas?

thank u people for answering my question but its for a autobiography and i have to write 5 paragraphsabout myself by tuesday and im all strested out help!!!!!!!!!!

prewriting ideas as in topic or ways to prewrite? if its ways to prewrite then i would suggest a web (you kow the thing with the big circle in the middle for the topic and then more little circels of ideas the link to the main topic), or you could use a list, and T- chart.

Before writing, take a piece of notebook paper.

Write down ideas for you book/story/essay with bullets.

Write down character names, who's the protagonist(the main character), the antogagonist ( the person who annoys the main character)?

Write ideas such as, what is the story going to be about? Do you want it to be fiction, or non-fiction? How long do you want the story to be?

Make a bubble and write down your title, then make branches out to other bubbles stating your ideas. Or you can get proffesional help from an English teacher, or a website, or even just a friend whom you know likes to write, ask them what they do. Get different perspectives.
