  5. It would probably be better off getting the puppy before choosing a name. Wait a week or two to get to know him/her some and then pick a name that suits his/her personality.

if we're talking a mini daschund, either boy or girl names, most common names for dogs like that are things like "Coco" or "Fang" really tough sounding names are always cute on small dogs, Regal "Titles" are also popular, though i find them a little irritating. names in this catagory are like "Lord Hensingly of Ashworth" or "Princess Ivonna van Trebbelstein"

Personally i go for names that are moderatly Naughty like "s**+'thead" (Pronounced s**+-Theed). i also had a dog named Hooter once :)

  11. Congratulations - I like the name peanut because it looks like  peanut, Would suit either male or female...

  12. Go to a baby names website, you can get ideas from there.  Without knowing if it is a boy/girl and what type of dog that is the best I can do.

  13. Congratulations :) What are you getting?  I tend to get to know my pets before naming them...I like to give them names that fit thier personality.

  14. Give it a short name. That will be easier for the dog to remember. I suggest you name it something that it likes or that it looks like like if it looks mad, name it Reddie because people get red when they are mad.
