All of Janet Evanovich's books are lovely, light, humorous romances. I laugh out loud at her character's antics!

Fannie Flagg has some wonderful warm stories, too. She wrote Fried Green Tomatoes (at theWhistle Stop Cafe). She has a hilarious book called Daisy Fay & the Miracle Man, too.

If you like fantasy, try Fred Saberhagen's Books of Swords or anything by Terry Brooks.

Juicy Hollywood books are a specialty of Jackie Collins, all of hers are great.

And some twisted but fascinating memoirs are the forte of David Sedaris.
