What are some good reasons why to get a hamster?

I always wanted a hamster, so I finally got one from school. My mom fell in love with it, so did my dad. Once it got bigger I didn't like it so much - I discovered I'm not much of a rodent girl. I eventually gave it away so it would have a better life. I think mine had special needs because it had indigestion problems. Good luck with your parents, hope you can get one.

i have had hamsters before and boy are they cute! they are very kind and gentle and you will never doubt getting one. they are very easy to care for and fun to play with they stay small so you wont need to give up a big place in the house for it. you should get one for your experiance .
